Force-free dog training in Barcelona
I help dogs and their families navigate behavioral challenges through clear, science-based guidance and a force-free approach.
Working primarily in English, I support international dog owners living in Barcelona who want to better understand their dog, feel confident in their decisions, and build practical routines that lead to real, lasting change.

Behavior-Focused Support for Dogs and Their People
I’m Pipa, a dog behavior consultant and trainer working with dogs and their people in Barcelona.
My work focuses on understanding the emotional and behavioral reasons behind what dogs do — especially in situations that feel overwhelming, confusing, or stressful for both dogs and their owners.
I also love guiding new puppy owners in getting things right from the start.
I work in a force-free, science-based way, and I don’t believe in quick fixes or one-size-fits-all solutions. Instead, I help people slow things down, make sense of their dog’s behavior, and build realistic, supportive steps forward — together.

Real words from people who walked this journey with their dogs – with guidance, patience, and care.

I started working with Pipa when I was feeling pretty lost with my two dogs. One of them is blind and struggles a lot with anxiety, digestive issues, and interactions with other dogs, and I didn’t really know how to support him properly.
What felt different from the beginning is that this wasn’t just about “fixing behavior.” Pipa helped me understand what my dogs are actually experiencing — where their reactions come from and how to respond in a way that supports them instead of fighting them.
The work is very practical, but also very thoughtful. She gave me clear tools and exercises, and over time I could really see a change — not just in my dogs, but in how confident and calm I felt handling situations.
It’s a process that requires commitment, but it feels grounded and respectful, and I never felt alone in it.
Charlotte & Roy

We contacted Pipa when we moved in together — I came with a dog and Roy came with a cat, and we honestly didn’t know how to make it work without stressing everyone out.
We started with guidance even before doing anything practical. She helped us think through how to prepare the house, how to manage the space, and what to expect before introducing them at all. That alone already made things feel much calmer and more organized.
After that, we did several Zoom sessions where we worked step by step with both the dog and the cat. The sessions were short and very focused, and she explained what to look for and how to adjust things in real time. Nothing felt rushed or forced.
What we really appreciated is that the process felt realistic and tailored to us. We weren’t just following instructions — we actually understood what we were doing and why. It made a big difference in how confident we felt handling things on our own.
Daniel & Linda

When we started working with Pipa, our dog Jack couldn’t stay alone at home at all. Even a few minutes would lead to stress, crying, and destructive behavior. We felt stuck and didn’t really know where to begin.
Instead of jumping straight into “solutions”, Pipa first helped us understand what was actually going on emotionally for our dog, and how our own behavior and routines were affecting him. She guided us on how to prepare the environment, how to leave and return in a calmer way, and how to reduce the overall stress in his daily life.
We then followed a gradual process, with small and realistic steps. It took time, patience, and consistency — but slowly, things started to change. Today, our dog can stay home alone for longer periods, and much more calmly.
